CAMBODIA TRADITIONAL CHEF

After 36 hours of traveling from the U.S. to Siem Reap, we decided to go out for dinner at Pub Street in Siem Reap. This very popular street with many bars and restaurants was only 15 minutes walk from our hotel. This is the place to be after a long day of exploring the ruins of the Khmer Kingdom.

Lea found Cambodia Traditional Chef restaurant on trip advisor, so we decided to try it as it was only half a block away from the Pub Street and all its craziness and loud music. The reviews were great, so we had high hopes for a good local meal after a day and half of only airplane cuisine. We were not disappointed.

The food was excellent and very inexpensive. They seem to always have a happy hour so most of the beers and some cocktails were only $1. The food portions were smaller in size than they are in the States (or in Vietnam) but we found it to be just enough for one person. This was a great place to eat and relax after a long trip or after a long day exploring the Angkor.

The most interesting thing was the Fish Massage that you may get after or before the dinner, while sipping the cold Cambodian bear or your favorite cocktail. Its right next to the restaurant and it's absolute fun!
